Paws for a Cause
The 15th Annual Fundraiser

Paws for a Cause is sad to announce that we will not have our annual charity night and silent auction in 2020. While we won’t be able to socialize with all of our wonderful supporters this year, we believe that animal organizations and the businesses that have supported Paws in the past need our help this year more than ever. That’s why we’re going to continue with our 15th Annual Fundraiser.

For the Fifteenth Annual Paws for a Cause Fundraiser, we’re supporting Pets with Disabilities, Furry Friends Network, and the wonderful businesses that have been long-time sponsors or auction donors to Paws.

Pets with Disabilities provides support for dogs and cats with physical disabilities. Dogs and cats can suffer serious injuries yet still enjoy a long life and bring happiness to their family. We’re raising money to help them with operational costs as they continue this wonderful mission.

Furry Friends Network is the organization that fostered Fenway fifteen years ago. If it wasn’t for Woody & Heidi’s experience with Furry Friends Network, Paws for a Cause wouldn’t exist. We’re raising money to support their Hope Fund. The Hope Fund is used to help cover the costs of treating animals with severe injuries, illness, and/or in need of major surgeries.

We’re also taking this year to remember Gertrude & Morris Sinay, the late parents of board member Diane Kesler, and Woody’s grandmother, Joan “Nan” Logue. Gertrude and Morris had been past sponsors of Paws and were strong supporters of Diane’s work with animal organizations. Nan was a regular attendee of Paws. While getting to play with her great-granddaughter, Elise, during the event was the evening’s highlight for Nan, she was very proud of the work that Woody and Heidi were doing to help local animal groups.

Please help support Pets with Disabilities and Furry Friends Network by donating to Paws for a Cause here. With Fenway just having celebrated his 15th birthday, we suggest donations of $93 (his age in dog years) or $15.

You can also show your support to the businesses that have helped make Paws a success for the past 14 years by visiting them online or in person:

In order to quickly get funds to these great organizations, we’ll only be raising money over the next two weeks. Please make your donation here today.

We’ll miss you all this year and look forward to seeing you at our event in 2021.

Thank you for your continued support!

As we all know, companion animals are still being turned over to shelters and rescue groups at alarming rates. We also know that rescue organizations rely heavily on the support and monetary donations of the community. We want to help! Each year, we hold a fundraiser to benefit one or two local animal welfare groups. No animal welfare group is too small to apply! Over the past 15 years, we’ve raised more than $100,000!

Our approach at the event is to find projects that local animal organizations need funded. We believe that having a monetary goal tied to a specific project helps loosen the wallets of those in attendance. For those interested, please download the application form, and email it to us at info@paws4cause.org.

In return, we ask that the group(s) selected help raise awareness of our event within their network of supporters and that they send a representative to the event. We will notify the group(s) if we are in need of a volunteer or two to assist before or during the event.
