The Eleventh Annual Paws for a Cause Charity Night & Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 6:30-9PM at Mustang Alley’s in Baltimore (1300 Bank Street). This event will benefit Baltimore Bully Crew & Senior Dog Sanctuary.
Baltimore Bully Crew is a grassroots all-volunteer based, nonprofit organization of responsible pit bull owners and enthusiasts. Their mission is to promote responsible ownership of what used to be “The American Family Dog.” Their goals include awareness, advocacy work, fundraising and informing the public of the prejudice tot his breed. They’re also foster based and are always looking for good foster homes.
Paws for a Cause is raising money for Baltimore Bully Crew to help them offer spay and neuter services to families that are unable to afford it. This is such a critical step to ending over population. They’ve done this before and had over 40 applicants and are excited about being able to do it again!
Senior Dog Sanctuary provides a permanent safe haven for senior dogs who are unable to be cared for by their owners, who are abandoned or abused, or face euthanasia. From their cutting edge facility to their experienced, compassionate staff, all their dogs receive round the clock care, endless love and enrichment.
Paws for a Cause is raising money for Senior Dog Sanctuary to support their “Loving Last Home” project. To prepare and promote final re-homing of hospice senior dogs, providing help and support and final expenses to those willing to care for a dog in their home. A senior dog may have days, weeks or months remaining. We’re really excited to be supporting such a unique but necessary need in the community!

Tickets: Advance $40 for one or $75 for two. At the door all tickets are $50 each. Please order in advance so that we can provide the restaurant with an accurate headcount.

As we all know, companion animals are still being turned over to shelters and rescue groups at alarming rates. We also know that rescue organizations rely heavily on the support and monetary donations of the community. We want to help! Each year, we hold a fundraiser to benefit one or two local animal welfare groups. No animal welfare group is too small to apply! Over the past 15 years, we’ve raised more than $100,000!
Our approach at the event is to find projects that local animal organizations need funded. We believe that having a monetary goal tied to a specific project helps loosen the wallets of those in attendance. In return, we ask that the group(s) selected help raise awareness of our event within their network of supporters and that they send a representative to the event. We will notify the group(s) if we are in need of a volunteer or two to assist before or during the event.
